They have just come to a very hard decision and a sad one for us Fids. Coco has started pulling his own feathers out and has got very cage territorial. He will only let Stacey handle him and is reluctant to come out of his cage and has got very bitey. My parrents feel he has matured and is desperate to breed. Sometimes this happens with us Fids and sometimes we are happy to stay true to our parrents and not breed at all. It seems that Coco wants to breed. Stacey has made a very hard decision but one that, deep down, she knows is the right one. She will be truly heartbroken to see Coco go. But, he is ONLY being sold to a breeder for use to breed with AND on the express condition that we can buy back his first baby (this will ensure he really is used for breeding which is what he so desperately wants). Oscar & Magic have said they would like to go up in Stacey's bedroom when Coco goes as some of the bigger birds in the Bird Room can frighten them a bit at times. Stacey also plans to tame her baby Cockatiels in her room and they are similar sizes to Oscar & Magic. Our Dad has still agreed to have them out of their cage during the day when Stacey is at work, when he hasn't got the big birds out! We are not expecting much to happen very quickly though so for the time being things will go on as now.
